The Yamaha show stand in Hall 3 will be bursting with new 2019 models fresh from the Intermot and EICMA motorcycle shows.
With class leading machinery to be found in almost every segment from the race winning R-series Supersport models, to our adventure, sport heritage and sport touring line-ups and of course the award-winning MT range.
Heading the display of new models will be the much anticipated production version of the new Tenere 700. Due to arrive in mid 2019 this all new Adventure bike has retained its race Dakar styling from the T7 concept machine and offers a very special specification that’s ready to take on everything from desert trails to the toughest urban environment!
Joining the radical NIKEN – the world’s first production LMW Leaning Multi Wheeled motorcycle – is the fully equipped new NIKEN GT that will offer long distance Sport Touring riders the benefits of the LMW system. Fitted with a modified version of the acclaimed CP3, 850cc, three-cylinder engine the NIKEN and new NIKEN GT utilise our revolutionary twin front wheel set up to provide dramatically increased front end grip for improved cornering and braking. And completing the Sport Touring segment is the new for 2019 Tracer 700GT and all-round entry level touring machine that offers great value.
For performance riders, the track focussed R1M joins the award winning YZF-R1 to bring the latest track technology to the road and a riding experience that is very close to a real MotoGP bike. While the beautiful 2019 YZF-R1 GYTR Anniversary limited edition track bike has to be seen to be believed. And with an all new YZF-R3 and YZF-R125 joining the 2019 Supersport line-up we have something for every sports focussed rider.
New wave custom and retro enthusiasts who appreciate the more traditional machines are also in for a real treat at Motorcycle Live this year with the new XSR700 XTribute on show as part of Yamaha’s Sport Heritage range. Offering a uniquely blend of style and performance the XSR machines have the same performance and handling as their MT stablemates but with an individual character and soul combined with timeless retro style.
And Scooter riders will appreciate the new 2019 range with the new Iron Max 300 alongside the best-selling NMAX and high performance TMAX scooters. And the display offers a glimpse into the future too with the concept 3CT machine on show – featuring an LMW front end and a unique tilt-lock system.
The MT range has shaken up the Hyper Naked segment with a unique combination of performance, style and value. Both MT-10 SP and MT-09 SP variants with are on show offering an Ohlins rear shock absorber along with upgraded forks, exclusive paint and detailed finishing to give the ultimate MT. And of course there is also the multi award winning MT-07 which received an update this year with improved suspension and new body with aggressive styling and better ergonomics – and like the other MT models on show you can check out the new for 2019 Ice Fluo colour option taking the line-up to the next level.
You can actually experience the range of MT models at Motorcycle Live 2018 by visiting the Dark Side MT Tour truck and booking onto the test rides which run from Door V3.1 in Hall 3.
There’s something for on the massive Yamaha stand with a full display of bikes plus the popular Yamaha Retail Store packed with the latest clothing and apparel ranges. Surrounding the main stand, you will find the Yamaha Village with Nick Sanders, plus Yamaha partners including Silverstone Circuits, AMCA and Red Tread plus the FJ Owners Club.
